Makerspaces at Walter Miller's Library

Making is a hands-on way of learning and innovating, and makerspaces are places where students can explore their abilities to design and implement plans, imagine new creations, and stretch their thinking using our “maker” philosophy: DreamQuestionInventDesignMake, and Learn!

Makerspace necklace

Our library makerspace is growing, and students last year tried making challenges involving binary computer language coding, Squishy CircuitsTM, index card tower building, puppet and origami making, and creating story settings out of SkoolzyTM connecting toys.
